Q: There are so many pet care businesses in Austin, TX. What sets you apart from the others?
A: As a locally owned and operated business, we recognize that each client has their own requirements. We tailor our service according to your preferences and needs. Our well trained team provides a high level of service.
Q: What happens during the free Meet and Greet session?
A: We will visit you and your pets at your home to get to know one another. The meeting typically takes 30 to 45 minutes. Your professional pet care giver will develop a customized Pet Care Plan based upon you and your pets needs, review the contract forms, pick up 2 sets of house keys, pet health records, and payment for your service request. Q: How often should I have a Meet and Greet and fill out new forms?
A: Updated forms and an additional Meet and Greet are required if you should change residence, your pet's care changes (i.e.: requires medical or other special attention), or we need to get acquainted with a new addition to your pet family.
Q: Once I am an established client, how do I schedule service?
A: Call us at 512-576-8442 or use the Contact page to schedule your services. You will receive an email and/or phone call to confirm your reservation. Reservations are not guaranteed until a request in writing is received.
Q: How can we be kept informed of our pets while we are away?
A: We understand how important it is to have peace of mind that your pets are doing well. As part of our service, we provide our clients with emails or voicemails upon request. Just let us know your preference and frequency you wish to receive contact. You are more than welcome to call us for updates.
Q: Can I trust Loving Frendz Pet Care?
A: All team members are screened as well as bonded and insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. We value the trust you place in us, and do not share your information with anyone outside of Loving Frendz Pet Care. Client files are kept secure in our office, and keys are coded anonymously and locked away separate from client information.
Q: What does bonded and insured mean?
A: We are covered by a dishonesty bond that reimburses you in the unlikely event anything is stolen from your home while it is in our sole care. In addition, because we are a professional pet care provider, we are covered by a liability insurance policy that protects you from monetary loss in the unlikely event we are responsible for any accidents that occur while caring for your pets.
Q: Can I book a last minute service?
A: We always try to accommodate our clients' needs, even with short notice, but we cannot guarantee service as we may be booked up on the dates/times requested, particularly over major holidays.
Q: Can I share pet sitting duties?
A: Unfortunately due to liability issues, we are not able to accommodate this request.
Q: What can I expect when I return home?
A: A very cheerful greeting from your happy and healthy pets, as well as your home just as you left it; everything in its proper place. Your Pet Care Specialist will leave a Daily Log, detailing how everything went in your absence, as well as a reminder to please give us a call or send an email to let us know you've returned. This insures that pets are never left unattended.
Q: Do I need to sign a contract?
A: Yes! The contract states permission to enter your home to care for your pets and that you agree to our policies and procedures.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Dog walks and non-holiday pet sitting will be credited if cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours notice. During the holiday season, cancellations are not credited and deposits are forfeited. Please take time to review our Policies page for more details on holidays and cancellations.
Q: Why do you require 2 keys?
A: We require 2 keys in case of accidental lock out or misplaced keys.
Q: May I tip?
A: Absolutely! Tips are never expected, but always appreciated.
